Team football with church children.
Day 2, July 4th
Football was awesome!
Hannah: We've been struck by how the simple of things can meet our needs and how people live their lives without some of the things we consider the basics. Really enjoyed the difference of church service styles, and communicating – sometimes through an interpreter, sometimes using German! Feels like we've been here a week already! Haven't met a bear yet but plenty of stray dogs.
Rhiannon: Amazing welcome – touching effort – over feeding us!
Amy: Church services have been really amazing! Love the change in culture and being able to see how grateful the people here are for what they have. Ioana has been brilliant with all her translations!
Lisa: WOW God is faithful! The people here are so generous it's overwhelming. It's humbling how much we have to be thankful for. Worshipping with the mixture of Romanian and English is awesome J
Katherine: It feels like we've been here forever...in a good way! Singing hymns in English and Romanian simultaneously is quite an experience. Simon is making us go on a walk now...ah well J
Simon F: Had a brilliant day today. It's been so good to share fellowship and blessings with the churches in Teliu and Prejmer. At Prejmer Paula really felt that we should take the service outside, and at the end of the service we were told there had been a group of people at the gates. This has been a real challenge to us and we are looking to organise a return visit one evening when we can meet, sing and challenge some of the locals.
Tomorrow begins our building work, it looks daunting!!! Roger has put us into 4 teams and each team will be stretched fully. Roger's planning a shopping trip with Sami to buy all the materials we need, using some of the money we previously sent.

Hi all you happy travellers. Good to see you all looking so alert after your journey. have fun building! Love to you all. Fi
