Today began with most of the team meeting at Cosham Baptist Church at 5.45am.  Chris Marsh and Kevin Mills picked us up in a minibus and car (thanks guys!) and Steve J and Matt T meeting up at the airport.  Some very tired eyes after little or no sleep last night!

 

We were met at the Luton Airport by the chaplain Linda who showed us the banner produced and sent by the CBC Banner Group banner.

 

We were a little disappointed to find our flight delayed but it turned out to be a blessing as it meant we got to spend time together as a team playing games and chatting and having much needed breakfast together.

 

The flight was smooth and uneventful except when the team woke the snoozing birthday girl Lisa up crowding 'round singing "Happy Birthday"!!

 

When we arrived we were picked up by Paster Sami with a minibus and enjoyed a beautiful drive through the mountains until we found ourselves at the church in Teliu, where we met his lovely family – his wife Cornelia and their beautiful children Raphael and Serena.

 

We were then taken straight to where our beautifully prepared and presented meal was waiting for us and made to feel very welcome.  So touched and humbled by their generous welcome and hospitality.

 

Afterwards we briefly touched on our contributions to tomorrow's church services and turned in around 1am – a busy day and we'll all sleep well.
